A new kind of non-profit organization

Within Suffering we can find Purpose

As I stood receiving my University degree, I looked out at the student crowded in celebration and knew that I was one of the lucky ones. That I shouldn’t be one of the few. That others should have the same opportunities I was given with out leaving their family and country behind.

My story is not unknown. Civil War. Massacre. My parents were teachers and targeted by the guerrilla fighters because education is dangerous, it can create change and independence. We left in the middle of the night, there was no time to take anything, not even the elders who had shoes could take them.

We ran all night, I was split from my five siblings and parents, sent to my grandparents homestead. But we were not safe even there. No one was safe anywhere. We found refugee within a convoy of Rhodesian war trucks. Over the next several years I was moved from school to school, and lost contact with my family. I never had the chance to say goodbye. The war and death imprinted my resolve: I would find the way to a better life.

A long journey lead me through India, Europe and eventually the United States and I found myself full circle. I left my country because there was no opportunity. But my experience inside wealthy countries was not as fulfilling as I dreamed. I did not want a handout, I wanted to be seen as an individual. I was hungry to learn, to grow my business as an Entrepreneur.

That was the inspiration for this non-profit, one that empowers the individual. That allows individuals to continue living near their families in their home countries. A sustainable chain that doesn’t feed one but instead is taught to many contributing to a stable economy and elevation from poverty. By the people themselves.

This is the future of investment, the potential of human capital. Are you ready to join us?
